Energy Factor: 3-Tier Tariff
Factor Energía’s 3-Tier Tariff offers fixed prices depending on the time of day, ideal for those who adjust their consumption and seek to optimise their electricity costs.
| Power P1 | €0.132/kWh |
|---|---|
| Power P2 | €0.191/kWh |
| Peak consumption | €0.242/kWh |
Factor Energía’s 3-Tier Tariff is designed for customers who wish to optimise their electricity bill by adjusting their consumption to different time bands. This scheme sets fixed prices for each time of day, allowing customers to take advantage of the cheapest times to carry out activities that consume the most energy.
The tariff has a consumption rate of €0.132/kWh, an energy charge of €0.191/kWh and a contracted power charge of €0.242/day. Thanks to its three-band time-of-use pricing system, it is an attractive option for households that can concentrate part of their consumption at specific times of the day, thereby improving the efficiency of their electricity expenditure.
With its 3-Tier Tariff, Factor Energía offers a flexible solution for those seeking greater control over their consumption and wishing to benefit from a tariff tailored to different times of the day.

The Energy Factor Time-of-Use Tariff is a time-of-use electricity tariff that divides the day into three periods (peak, standard and off-peak), each with a different fixed price per kWh. It is designed for those who can adapt their consumption habits to the different time periods and thus optimise their bill by paying less during the cheaper hours.
Off-peak hours, which are the cheapest, generally correspond to the early hours of the morning (from 00:00 to 08:00) and the whole weekend. The standard period usually occurs mid-morning and late afternoon, whilst the peak period, which is the most expensive, is concentrated in the middle of the working day, between 10:00 and 14:00 and from approximately 18:00 to 22:00.
It is ideal for households with flexible schedules that can concentrate the use of their most energy-intensive appliances (washing machine, dishwasher, oven, etc.) during off-peak hours. It is also highly recommended for people who spend little time at home during the day and use most of their electricity at night or at the weekend.
Prices for each time band are fixed and remain stable for the first 12 months from the date of signing the contract. This gives you the benefit of time-of-use pricing without the uncertainty of an index-linked tariff: you know in advance how much you will pay in each time band throughout the year.
The main difference is that the Flat-Rate Electricity Tariff charges the same price 24 hours a day (€0.096/kWh), whilst the Time-of-Use Electricity Tariff has three different prices depending on the time of day. If you can manage your consumption and make the most of off-peak hours, the Time-of-Use Electricity Tariff may work out cheaper; if you don’t have that flexibility, the Flat-Rate Electricity Tariff offers greater stability and simplicity.
