Endesa Online: 24-Hour Fixed Rate at the Same Price

Endesa’s current 24h Online Electricity Rate (which takes over from the former One Luz) retains the core feature of offering a stable price 24 hours a day, making it the ideal option for those seeking maximum simplicity and who prefer not to keep an eye on the clock when doing laundry or turning on the oven. To help its customers save money, the company currently offers very attractive promotions, including a 25% direct discount on electricity usage for the entire first year, as well as a €50 welcome bonus upon signing up.

Endesa Solar: Solar Tariff with surplus

The Endesa Solar Tariff allows you to maximise savings at home by combining photovoltaic self-consumption with surplus offsetting and tools such as the virtual battery, which makes it possible to accumulate the credit generated by unused energy and even reduce your electricity bill to zero euros.

Endesa Conecta 3: 3-Tier Rate with a Fixed Price for Each Period

Endesa’s current Conecta 3-Period Rate (which replaces the former One Luz 3) is the perfect option for those looking to maximize their electricity savings by taking advantage of time-of-use pricing. By dividing the day into three distinct time periods (off-peak, standard, and peak), this plan allows users to significantly reduce their bill if they manage to concentrate the bulk of their consumption (such as the use of large appliances) during the cheapest hours, which are in the early morning and on weekends.

Frequently asked questions?

When is it advisable to choose a 24-hour flat-rate electricity plan?

In many cases! If you’re the type of person who plans ahead and likes to have complete control over your monthly expenses, this rate plan is ideal for you. It’s also an excellent option if you work from home and need a steady supply of electricity throughout the day, without worrying about price spikes during peak hours. Plus, if you run a business that requires high energy consumption 24 hours a day, this rate guarantees you a stable and competitive price at all times.

Advantages

  • Predictable expenses: Since the price remains fixed 24 hours a day, it’s easier to forecast and control monthly energy costs.
  • Simplicity: You don’t have to worry about price fluctuations at different times of the day.
  • Flexibility in energy use: You can use electricity at any time of day without worrying about additional costs.
  • Convenience: You don’t need to adjust your usage habits based on different rate schedules.

Disadvantages

  • Possible lack of flexibility: If you’re able to adjust your consumption to off-peak hours, you may not be taking full advantage of savings opportunities.
  • Potential lack of incentives to save energy: With a fixed price, there’s no direct incentive to reduce consumption during peak hours or implement energy-efficiency practices.
  • It may not be the most cost-effective option for users whose consumption patterns are concentrated during off-peak hours.

If you’re flexible when it comes to energy use and can schedule your high-consumption activities during off-peak hours, this rate plan is perfect for you. If you have appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, or dryers, using them during off-peak hours will allow you to take full advantage of the lower rates. Plus, if you have electric vehicles and can charge them overnight, you’ll also enjoy significant savings.

Advantages

  • Potential savings: Time-of-use rates typically offer lower prices during off-peak hours, which can result in significant savings if consumption is adjusted to those periods.
  • Incentive to save energy: Higher prices during peak hours encourage responsible consumption and the adoption of energy-efficient practices.
  • Flexibility: Users can take advantage of lower prices to perform energy-intensive tasks, such as doing laundry or using appliances, during off-peak hours.
  • Customization: Depending on the rate plan, different time periods can be set to accommodate each user’s specific consumption patterns. You can adjust your consumption habits based on the different rate schedules.

Disadvantages

  • Complexity: Time-of-use rates can be more complex to understand and require more detailed tracking of usage times and rate changes.
  • Energy-use restrictions: During peak demand hours and when prices are highest, you may need to limit or avoid using energy-intensive devices.
  • Requires adjusting consumption habits: To maximize the benefits of these rates, you’ll need to adjust your consumption habits and schedule high-consumption activities during off-peak hours.
  • It may not be suitable for users with fixed consumption schedules or specific energy needs outside the available time periods.

In many cases! If you’re mindful of your energy usage and can schedule your high-consumption activities during the free hours, this rate plan is ideal for you. Imagine being able to use your most energy-intensive appliances—like the washing machine, oven, or air conditioner—without worrying about extra charges during those free hours.

The savings can be significant! Plus, if you run a business with specific operating hours or need extra power at key times, this rate plan lets you do so without worries or unexpected charges.

Advantages

  • Significant savings on your electricity bill.
  • Total flexibility and freedom in energy use throughout the day.
  • Ideal for energy-intensive activities.
  • No restrictions on the number of hours used.

Disadvantages

  • The benefit is limited to one day per month.
  • It may not be suitable for users with low energy needs.
  • It requires heavy usage during the free day to maximize the benefit.

1. Inaccurate Billing

Users have reported problems with the accuracy of bills issued by Endesa, including incorrect meter readings and erroneous calculations.

2. Poor Customer Service

Some users have expressed frustration with Endesa’s customer service, citing long wait times, unclear responses, or a failure to resolve issues.

3. Power Outages and Lack of Communication

There have been reports of power outages without prior notice from Endesa, which have caused inconvenience and disruption for customers. Additionally, some customers have pointed out a lack of effective communication from the company during these incidents.

4. Changes to Contract Terms

Some customers have expressed dissatisfaction with changes to contract terms made by Endesa, such as price increases or changes to rates without prior notice.

5. Handling of Complaints and Technical Issues

Several users have reported difficulties when filing complaints or requesting technical assistance from Endesa, citing delayed or unsatisfactory responses.

The cheapest plan is the Conecta Luz rate: 0.120 €/kWh 24 hours a day and 0.094 €/kW per day for power, during both peak and off-peak hours, with no minimum contract term. For an average household (287 kWh per month and 4.6 kW), it comes to about 77 € per month, including taxes. The second cheapest is the Luz 24h Online plan, at 0.129 €/kWh and the same power rating: about 80 € per month.

These prices include discounts that are not permanent. With Conecta, the 30% discount is broken down into a 10% discount that lasts only the first year and a 20% discount that lasts forever. Starting in the second year, the price per kWh rises to about €0.137, and the average bill comes to about €83 per month. The same applies to Luz 24h Online: the 25% discount is split into a 10% discount for the first year and a 15% discount that lasts indefinitely, and starting in the second year, the price per kWh rises to about €0.146.

Conecta has two conditions: it can only be signed up for and managed online, and it’s only for new customers. If you prefer phone support or are already an Endesa customer, the alternative is Luz 24h Online, which also includes a €50 welcome bonus.

It depends on the rate plan. With Conecta Luz and Luz 24h Online, the price is the same at any time of day, so there are no cheaper hours: you pay the same whether you run the washing machine at 3 a.m. or 8 p.m.

With Conecta 3 Periodos, electricity is cheaper during off-peak hours: from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Monday through Friday, and 24 hours a day on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays. During this period, the price per kWh is €0.094. The standard rate period (from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and from 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on weekdays) costs €0.118/kWh. The most expensive is the peak rate (from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays), at €0.186 per kWh—almost double the off-peak rate.

If you’re on the PVPC regulated rate plan with Energía XXI, the price changes every hour based on market conditions and doesn’t always follow these tiers. You can check it every day on our “Today’s Electricity Price” page.

Both plans have a fixed rate 24 hours a day, the same power capacity, and no minimum contract term. The difference lies in the price and customer service. Conecta Luz is cheaper (€0.120/kWh vs. €0.129/kWh), but it can only be signed up for and managed online, and is available only to new customers.

Luz 24h Online costs a bit more, but it includes phone support, supports up to 15 kW of power, and you can sign up for it even if you’re already an Endesa customer—though in that case, you won’t receive the welcome discount. Plus, they’re currently offering a €50 bonus when you sign up: it’s paid in two installments of €25, in the first and sixth months.

Based on average usage, Conecta Luz is about €3 cheaper per month, or about €36 per year. The €50 welcome bonus from Luz 24h Online offsets that difference during the first year. Starting in the second year, Conecta Luz is the more economical of the two.

Prices may increase on January 1 of each year. For the Conecta Luz and Luz 24h Online rates, Endesa may adjust the price based on the CPI for November of the previous year (which was 3% in November 2025) and the cost of the electricity system’s balancing services. It also passes on to the price any changes in tolls and regulated charges, whether upward or downward.

In addition, the first-year discount expires 12 months into the contract. With Conecta Luz, the price per kWh rises from €0.120 to about €0.137. With Luz 24h Online, it rises from €0.129 to about €0.146. This increase is the one that shows up most noticeably on the bill, and many customers do not expect it.

If you want to avoid surprises, Endesa offers a version of Luz 24h with a price guarantee for 3 or 5 years, although it’s more expensive from the start. If Endesa changes your terms, it must give you one month’s notice, and you can cancel your service without a penalty.

Endesa Energía, the company that sells Conecta Luz, Luz 24h Online, and Conecta 3 Periodos, is a retailer in the open market. In the open market, each company sets its own prices and terms, and you enter into a contract with an agreed-upon price.

The Endesa Group’s regulated rate is sold by another company, Energía XXI, which is its designated supplier. Its rate, the PVPC, has a price set by the government that changes hourly based on market conditions. If “Energía XXI” appears on your bill, you are on the regulated market even if your contract is with the Endesa Group.

You can switch from the regulated market to the free market—and vice versa—whenever you want, at no cost and without any power outages. Keep in mind that if you switch to an Endesa Energía rate plan, you’ll lose your eligibility for the social discount, which applies only to the PVPC.
